At MidSun we adhere to the CBE's Administrative Regulation - Standards of Dress and Grooming. This can be viewed as a link on this webpage.
Student dress code is aimed at establishing and maintaining reasonable standards of dress for all school activities and should be appropriate for the learning environment.
Students are reminded of the following expectations for school dress:
(a) appropriate for a wide range of learning activities
(b) appropriate for all weather conditions and students should be prepared to spend some time outside during the day, particularly at lunchtime and for Physical Education
(c) promotes safety in all activities including Physical Education, Science Labs and CTF Labs such as Construction and Food (proper shoes, clothing, hair)
(d) promotes safety and acceptance (does not promote hate, drugs or gang affiliation)
(e) clothing should cover undergarments
(f) all bags and outdoor clothing in lockers (jackets, purses, side bags, backpacks, etc.)
Students who do not follow the recommended dress guidelines will be asked to put on alternative clothing, and in some cases, may be asked to go home and change after their parents have been contacted.
