From Administration
A heartfelt thank you to our School Council for providing funding for our February Red and Pink Dance on February 11. It was a wonderful way for students to connect, celebrate, and kick off the long weekend in a positive and joyful way. We wish all MidSun families a wonderful Family Day long weekend.
🌙 Ramadan at MidSun 🏫
- To support our students observing Ramadan, MidSun will provide:
- Prayer Room – Available in (Red Pod) with yoga mats for use.
- Food-Free Lunch Space – Library is open for students who prefer a quiet, food-free area.
- Staff Awareness – Our staff understands that fasting students may have lower energy levels.
- Respect for Prayer Time – Teachers will be mindful and supportive of students who need time to pray.
- Mindful Planning – We encourage everyone to be considerate when planning food-related events and activities.
We appreciate our diverse school community and support all students during this special time! 💙
Did You Know? – MidSun staff supervise well beyond the classroom?
MidSun staff support students well beyond the classroom — from supervising clubs, sports, dances, field trips, and lunchtime spaces to helping create a school environment where students feel connected and cared for.
Student lunch fees help make many of these experiences possible, including lunchtime clubs, outdoor sports equipment, activities like foosball and air hockey, first aid supplies for minor injuries, and this year’s addition of new lunchtime tables in our Grade 7 Red Pod.
