  • Report Cards: Report cards will be available through the PowerSchool Parent Portal on February 24.
  • PowerSchool: Families are encouraged to check PowerSchool regularly for ongoing assessment information and updates on student progress. For support with navigating PowerSchool and viewing marks, please see the following video tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yN7aNET71a4

Parent Teacher Conferences provide an important opportunity to connect with teachers about your child’s learning, strengths, and next steps. We encourage families to review PowerSchool and Google Classroom together before the conference and, if possible, include your child in the conversation. We look forward to partnering with you to support student success.

Pink Shirt Day 2026

Pink Shirt Day, observed on the last Wednesday of February, began in Canada as a student-led act of kindness and has grown into a national day focused on inclusion and respect. At MidSun, on Wednesday, February 25,  this aligns with the Calgary Board of Education’s commitment to creating welcoming, caring, respectful, and safe learning environments. Pink Shirt Day provides an opportunity to reinforce these values and continue conversations with students about belonging, kindness, and standing up for one another.

We also have our Dude... Be Nice T-Shirts on Sale this week  = $7

Did You Know… MidSun intentionally builds time into the school week for students to check in, reflect, and set goals with trusted adults?

Through TA Blocks, nutrition break, and classroom check-ins, students are supported not just academically, but socially and emotionally - because belonging and well-being matter.
