From Administration

March is a busy month at MidSun with many activities, learning opportunities, and events taking place across the school community. On Wednesday, March 11, MidSun will also host an Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Audit, which helps ensure our school continues to maintain safe learning and working environments for students and staff.

Families can support school safety by reminding students to walk safely in hallways, keep shared spaces clean, and let a staff member know if they see something unsafe. Thank you for helping us keep MidSun a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

Did You Know?

This week is Substitute Teacher Appreciation Week, recognized by the Alberta Teachers’ Association.

At MidSun School, we are grateful for the substitute teachers who step in to support student learning when classroom teachers are away for professional learning, medical appointments, meetings, or other school responsibilities. Substitute teachers help provide consistency in learning and support classroom routines, ensuring that students continue to learn and stay engaged.

Thank you to the many substitute teachers who support MidSun students throughout the year!
